Who I am: Anita Buchser

Born and raised in Switzerland in Interlaken, immediately after my studies I had the desire to live in Italy and I had the opportunity to work first at the Gallia Palace Hotel in Punta Ala and then in the Riva del Sole Hotel in Castiglione della Pescaia at the front desks, but only for the summer season. So I had to go back to Switzerland where I made a career, very young, as head of staff and assistant director of a large convention center in Lucerne. At that time I could only come to Castiglione della Pescaia for short holidays.

Remained in love with this beautiful place, and being a lover of the sea and of sailing (I always say, yes, it is true, even Switzerland is beautiful, but the sea is missing!), I was always homesick and after a few years I decided to take the big step to be able to stay all year. Put aside some pennies, in 1994 I moved permanently to the beautiful country what is Italy. I did various courses and exams for the commercial sector as well as for tourist companies management and also for the real estate agent license, in order to understand how the administration of business and employment in Italy worked.

More and more enthusiastic, I created and opened my own Villa Toscana real estate agency, initially dealing mainly with tourist rentals but over the years I have acquired more and more experience also in the mediation of buying and selling real estate. Being a native German speaker, and besides Italian I speak French and English, it is natural that I have the advantage of being able to extend my range of actions, to make foreigners feel at ease in Italy, and to assist in the best ways to those who want to sell a property and maybe can find a buyer from abroad.

In fact, after more than twenty years I decided to completely abandon the rental business to focus exclusively on the activity of brokerage of real estate buying and selling
